It also stops screws from losing in operation and offers the required dissimilarity between stainless steel joints to minimize wear. Straight-bore rigid couplings have been precisely ground to make sure their bores remain properly aligned. This is crucial when using rigid couplings in precision servo systems since honing permits better connection with the shaft as well as a greater transfer of torque. We make our one-piece rigid couplings out of 1215 lead-free stainless steel with an exclusive black oxide finish and 303 stainless steel and aluminum that is lightweight 2024.
